Meet Maeve Kavanagh, the go to personal trainer who provides a bespoke personal training service that educates, guides, supports, motivates and inspires individuals to be the best they can be, in a bespoke and private fitness studio based in Dooradoyle, Limerick. Maeve, also provides online strength training classes through her Stronger Together Membership.
Maeve’s unique attribute is her personal approach to clients. With over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry, her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge, has built her a devoted clientele.
Maeve’s approach is deeply rooted in functional training, including her Personal Training and Pilates & Corrective Exercise specialist certifications as well as specialised certifications in Spinning and Pre- and Post-Natal exercise. She is a graduate of the University of Limerick with a B.Sc. in Exercise & Health Fitness and a Diploma in Sports Management from the University College Dublin.
Maeve loves being active in the outdoors and is a very keen runner, having competed in 10ks, 1/2 marathons and eight marathons. She has completed a 1/2 Ironman with plans for more in the future. Maeve’s passion is also in strength training. She takes a very holistic approach and has clients from their early 20’s to 80’s lifting weights and building their functional strength, both in person and online.
Maeve’s vision is to create a healthier lifestyle for people, which will be achieved through the ethos that one approach does not suit all and by providing a superior customer service environment. A client’s programme will be individually tailored according to their needs and goals and delivered in a bespoke purpose built private fitness studio.
Many training methods are used in the fitness studio, such as weights, medicine balls, plyometric box, pilates, TRX suspension training, stability ball.
Maeve uses a variety of training methods to get the most out of her clients.
All exercises are modified according to the clients level, and her professional approach and attention to detail will ensure all clients are working to the best of their ability, in a safe and welcoming environment.
1-2-1 Personal Training
Dedicated 1-2-1 sessions, creating a unique dynamic with Maeve and allowing the client to focus on their results.
Small Group Personal Training
Small Group Personal Training Classes classes are available with a maximum of 3 participants allowing a bespoke experience.

Pilates & Corrective Exercise
The aim of pilates is to teach clients about body awareness and help participants to lengthen and strengthen muscle, improve core strength and improve posture.
