40 Day Well Being Challenge
Lent is traditionally a time when we try to give up indulgences.
However, I feel we have all given up enough this past year and I also believe it’s a time when we can make positive changes to our lifestyles and take advantage of the 40 day structure of Lent.
There’s loads of factors that could be impacting on your wellbeing right now, and doing small, simple things can hopefully make a difference.
The suggestions in my 40 day wellbeing challenge can hopefully help you feel more in control, go towards having a better day, and improve your wellbeing.
I have kept the chart very simple with the focus being on two compound exercises that will add movement to our day and as the days go on the reps progress, so hopefully we start to get stronger. It starts VERY easy with the idea being that you work really hard on technique and perform quality reps. The self-care day is all about YOU and doing something you enjoy and makes you feel good. On Mondays we list three things we are grateful for – you might think of these in your head or you may write them in your journal. And on Saturdays, I will move with you via a live class on Instagram to set you up for the weekend.
And you can incorporate my weekly tick the healthy box, which focuses on nutrition and a little mindfulness too!
If we miss a day, we move forward and go to the next day. The challenges are not set in stone. Change them slightly so they suit you. Please add in your usual walks/run, pilates and be mindful of your nutrition.
